BrainCargo’s Driver App module is the app each driver uses on their phone to receive routes, confirm deliveries, log incidents and access their service base. The app itself is free and included in every plan, but the module adds optional services for self-employed MEI drivers (Brazil’s micro-entrepreneur status): NFS-e (electronic service invoice) issuing with a digital certificate included, and an Accountant Pack (invoice + dedicated bookkeeping). It works offline, syncs on reconnect and covers the full operational cycle — from the transport list to the billing report. The driver app is free and mandatory in any BrainCargo operation — it’s the digital edge of the delivery. Around it, this module offers optional services for the self-employed MEI driver: NFS-e with a digital certificate, and a dedicated accountant.
It’s how a self-employed driver formalizes and simplifies their operation: issuing NFS-e straight from the app, getting an accountant in the Pack and keeping billing history centralized.

Is the driver app really free?
Yes. The app is free and unlimited in number of drivers, included in every BrainCargo plan. The optional modules (NFS-e, Accountant) cost extra when the driver chooses to add them.
How much does NFS-e + digital certificate cost?
There is a base Financial Services plan, with optional add-ons for dedicated CT-e issuing and a dedicated accountant for the self-employed driver. Rates on request — talk to our team for the right mix.

Is the Accountant Pack for non-MEI drivers too?
The Accountant Pack is designed for MEI and self-employed drivers. For companies, we recommend the Tax Documents module (CT-e/MDF-e) and their own accounting.
